This book was incredible! My mother is a breast cancer survivor for 6 years and my best friend was just diagnosed with triple neg breast cancer. Finally Dr Funk’s book is here! I wished for a book like this 8 and 1/2 years ago when I was diagnosed. Her compassionate, calm and steady voice is through out this book teaching us how to care for our bodies and our breasts. So many things have changed in the last few years in breast cancer treatment and to finally have a book that gives us proactive measures to take and focuses not only on the disease but also on breast health is a blessing. I bought multiple copies, one for each of my daughters and one for me. I want them to have the latest information but also none of the scare tactics of old. I gave them the check box next to first degree relative with breast cancer and with Dr Funk’s book they will learn that nothing is inevitable and there are things to do to lessen your chances of cancer. Thank you Dr. Funk for this —we really needed it!
